X-Ray Technologist

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X-Ray Technologist at 208 W Oak St. Kissimmee, FL. The role involves producing high-quality diagnostic X-ray images with precision and compassion, performing exams, evaluating image quality, maintaining documentation, and contributing to high clinical standards in an outpatient imaging environment.

Responsibilities

Performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning; Evaluating images for technical quality and producing diagnostic-grade results; Maintaining clean, complete, real-time documentation; Managing own workflow and keeping room ready; Troubleshooting equipment issues; Adapting to a high-volume schedule and prioritizing tasks under minimal supervision; Providing proper patient positioning, clear procedure explanations, and genuine care for comfort and safety; Maintaining infection control standards; Mentoring students and providing hands-on guidance

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; Valid state licensure current (where required); BLS certification current or in progress; Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program; Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
