Youth Coach

KidStrong Vestavia Hills is looking for amazing coaches! We are looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives. KidStrong is Athletic Play – a new kind of activity for kids ages 1-11 that builds confidence, character and family connection through science-based fitness games led by expert coaches.

Responsibilities

Coaching and mentoring children to make an impact on their lives; Teaching parents how to make their children smarter, stronger and more confident; Engaging with parents and kids

Requirements

Passion for working with kids is non-negotiable; Experience talking to and educating parents on our curriculum; Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; CPR certified; Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills; Self-starter that just gets a job done

Nice to have

Athletic, coaching, or teaching background; Experience coaching kids ages 15mo-11 years old; Pediatric OT/PT experience; Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age
