Youth Support Worker

APM is continuing its impactful work with the Transition to Work contract, and we are now seeking individuals passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people as a Youth Support Worker in our Caboolture, Qld office. As a Youth Support Worker, you will be assessing the needs of the participants, identifying barriers to employment and providing solutions focussed approaches to support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment.

Responsibilities

Assessing the needs of the participants; Identifying barriers to employment; Providing solutions focussed approaches to support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment; Building relationships and working with key stakeholders to maximise job opportunities for everyone

Requirements

Eligibility to work in Australia; A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle; Willing to complete a Criminal History Check; Able to pass a Working with Children Check; Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm; Strong passion and drive to support young people prepare for and secure employment within the local community
