Responsibilities

Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs following injury or illness through physical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations (based on your clinical discipline); Provide expert advice around work-place modification and the return-to-work process; Support clients to define meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans; Monitor progress, adjust plans to support sustainable outcomes; Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders from workplaces/employers, healthcare providers, treating practitioners and insurers. Be an integral part of the shared goal of recovery and reintegration

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work; Registration with AHPRA (Provisional is fine), ASORC (Full membership) or AASW; Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment; A WWCC (Working with children check); Full Australian working rights; A driver’s licence and willingness to work in different settings (workplaces, client homes, remote-onsite assessments); The ability to coordinate across stakeholders; A collaborative, problem-solving mindset, accompanied by professionalism and integrity
