Principal Objectives of the Leasing Agent

Property Management: The Leasing Consultant initiates and coordinates all phases of apartment leasing. The primary objective is to assist the Property Manager in generating satisfactory cash flow, compliance with any regulated affordable housing program, positive resident relations and optimal resident retention.

Client Service: The Leasing Agent is responsible for ensuring the delivery of excellent client service.

Responsibilities

Initiate and coordinate all phases of apartment leasing; Assist Property Manager in generating satisfactory cash flow; Ensure compliance with regulated affordable housing programs; Maintain positive resident relations and optimal resident retention; Deliver excellent client service; Greet prospective residents and guide them through the leasing process; Conduct property tours, highlight key features, and close leasing deals; Handle leasing paperwork, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain availability of units; Foster strong relationships with prospective and current residents; Address resident concerns promptly
