Principal Business Operations Manager

Join BetterUp's Business Operations team within the Office of the CEO to lead the company's top strategic projects, including annual planning, acquisition integrations, due diligence, and more, working closely with the CEO/Co-Founder, COO/Co-Founder, Chief of Staff, and Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

Lead the top Office of the CEO strategic projects; Oversee due diligence for partnerships with luminaries such as Brené Brown, Adam Grant, Pau Gasol, and Shaun White; Develop BetterUp's European market entry strategy; Create BetterUp's 5-year growth plan for the Board of Directors; Collaborate with Co-Founders on fundraising decks; Revamp pricing and packaging in partnership with a third-party consulting firm; Establish and manage the CHRO Growth Advisory Council; Lead the Davos activation, fostering connections between BetterUp's CEO and Fortune 100 CXOs; Negotiate and launch cross-selling partnership with Walmart.com; Develop a strategy to expand the engineering team internationally; Co-lead acquisition due diligence on U.S. and European acquisition targets; Lead post-merger integrations; Drive annual planning and manage the company OKR process

Requirements

5-8 years of experience at Bain & Company, McKinsey, or BCG, with demonstrated success leading complex, high-stakes projects; Strategic and Analytical Excellence: combine creative problem-solving with a structured, analytical approach and develop actionable insights that shape strategy at the highest levels; Cross-functional leadership: proven ability to work across all organizational levels, particularly with senior executives, to drive alignment, influence decision-making, and deliver measurable results; Execution Mastery: juggle multiple high-priority initiatives while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and organization; Agility and Resilience: thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities can shift rapidly
