Senior Jewellery Designer

The Senior Jewellery Designer plays a vital role in concepting, creating, crafting and executing design ideas within our MV Brand identity.

Responsibilities

Concepting, creating, crafting and executing design ideas within our MV Brand identity; Supporting the design and delivery of an ambitious product pipeline; Working closely with the Product Development team to deliver beautiful, sustainable, quality products on time and at a competitive price; Championing the customer at every point of the product journey; Initiating and driving new creative concepts based on inspiration, innovation, trends and commercial opportunities; Presenting multiple design ideas using sketching, renders, modelled waxes, clays, 3D prints; Owning weekly design sessions; Translating design ideas into detailed, to-scale technical specifications using Adobe Illustrator or CAD; Delivering design ideas within tight timeframes and managing multiple design projects in parallel; Leading by example and mentoring junior team members; Collaborating with Commercial, Supply & Quality, and Development teams; Maintaining accurate and inspirational creative content and timely issue of Seasonal Product Presentation; Managing design studio space and sample lifecycle

Requirements

Communicates Effectively; Applies Knowledge with Impact; Embraces Change; Challenges & Commits; Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom; Proven industry experience is required; Travel to Norfolk 2-3 days per week; Regular travel overseas (Italy, India, Thailand) 2-3 times per year
