Sustainability data advisor

Join the Sustainability data advisory team in the Mexico City office as a customer-focused, analytically-minded advisor. You will work directly with customers as a trusted advisor, leading measurement sessions and delivering advisory services that unlock the full value of the Watershed platform, helping customers gain clear, reliable insights into their sustainability impact and achieve their sustainability goals. This position is required to be in person in the Mexico City office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

Advise sustainability teams on measuring actionable carbon and non-carbon footprints to reach sustainability goals; Deliver services that accelerate customer success, including helping customers set up measurements, serving as a trusted partner in emissions verifications, and providing specialized advisory to optimize data and methodologies; Lead measurement sessions with customers; Collaborate with science, engineering, and product teams to pioneer innovative measurement solutions and expand Watershed's sustainability intelligence layer

Requirements

4-6 years of experience in a consulting, solutions-engineering, or other customer-facing role; Experience in sustainability-related fields, greenhouse gas accounting and/or ESG reporting; Excellent verbal and written communicator who can communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences; Learns quickly and operates well in ambiguity; Organized, systematic, and efficient; Thrives in a high-volume environment; Thinks clearly about complex problems and is comfortable using and speaking to data; Meticulous and detail-obsessed; Passionate about solving climate change; Strong English language proficiency
