About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Officer to manage the accounting and financial follow-up of Joint ventures involved in project-based activities. The Accounting Officer will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Assets

- Experience with joint ventures accounting.
- Experience working in international or project-driven environments.
- Knowledge of ERP accounting systems.

Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle for several Joint Ventures.; Prepare and review monthly, quarterly reporting.; Ensure accurate bookkeeping, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes.; Monitor cash flow, project costs, and partner allocations.; Prepare partner reporting and financial summaries for joint venture participants.; Coordinate with project managers, partners, auditors, and external accountants.; Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and internal procedures.; Assist with audit processes and provide required documentation.; Improve and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.; Minimum 5 years of experience in A to Z accounting, preferably in project accounting, joint ventures, or construction environments.; Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.; Excellent analytical and organizational skills.; Ability to work independently and proactively while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.; Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities/projects simultaneously.; Fluent in English, and; Dutch and French (professional working proficiency).
