Acumen Regional Manager - Military (Southern QLD)

We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager to lead both on and off base service delivery across a designated military region, supporting our Defence and rehabilitation contracts. You'll lead regional operations, build high-performing teams and strengthen Defence stakeholder relationships. Achieve sustainable outcomes for our military members.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and report on regional service delivery operations to ensure contractual KPIs, service standards, and compliance requirements are achieved; Promote a strong culture of clinical governance, safety, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring relevant standards and regulatory requirements are met; Build and maintain strong relationships with ADF representatives (ie Commanding Officers, Health Centre Managers, Regional Rehab Managers) and act as the escalation point for complex customer or stakeholder issues; Lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve operational and strategic goals, supporting workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and capability development; Foster a culture that promotes employee wellbeing, engagement, professional development, and workplace safety; Manage regional P&L performance, revenue, margin, and EBITDA outcomes; Represent Acumen Health at customer meetings, contract reviews, and industry forums

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, or another relevant Allied Health discipline with current professional registration; Minimum 5 years' experience within occupational rehabilitation, injury management or similar; Strong operational leadership and people management experience, with exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills; Demonstrated success managing customers with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for Defence personnel and veterans; Experience managing budgets, commercial outcomes, or financial performance metrics
