Admissions Rep/Registrar (Full Time Days) Patient Access

Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives: ensuring necessary information required for admission is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines. Plays a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery. This position requires individuals who are detailed oriented, adaptable and equipped with the necessary experience and skills to handle the demands of the dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives; Ensuring necessary information required for admission is accurately recorded and processed; Maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines; Playing a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery

Requirements

Computer proficiency includes word processing and patient accounting system; HIPPA and PCI Compliance required; Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient

Nice to have

High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum of two years hands on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care; Insurance knowledge; Bilingual interpretation and translation (for some positions)
