Advanced Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Technician perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in Backend Process.

Responsibilities

Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment.; Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.; Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.; Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.; Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.; Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.; This role requires reliable presence to support operational and team objectives. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance aligned with the company’s work schedule.

Requirements

Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics

Nice to have

Proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware related issues.; Ability to use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair of equipment.; Ability to understand PLC system.; Ability to use vision system will be an added advantage.; Self-motivator, ability to work independently under general guidance and direction; High level attention to detail with methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management; Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentorship.; Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures.; Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, engineering, and managers.; Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause, and drive factory improvement initiatives.; Knowledge of Auto VMI, Auto Labeling and Auto Packing equipment/process would be an added advantage.
