Assistant Maintenance Manager

The Assistant Maintenance Manager leverages leadership skills and technical knowledge to lead a team of maintenance mechanics, working in conjunction with robotics, and controls systems technicians, in a fast-paced atmosphere while ensuring a safe working environment for all.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and support maintenance team members; Ensure a safe working environment and model safety standards; Manage outside contractors and be on-call for emergencies; Provide complete oversight of preventive maintenance for the facility; Meet operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including labor tracking; Schedule and track completion of tickets; Oversee building cleanliness and ensure accurate inventory tracking; Implement preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs; Maintain client-centric relationships with operational stakeholders; Participate in development and tracking of budgets; Assist in project planning and cost analysis; Provide performance feedback and conduct housekeeping; Travel as required to support network needs

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Prior leadership experience; Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed; Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, and electronic controls; Must be authorized to work within the hiring country without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future

Nice to have

Previous experience managing budgets and vendors; Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) programs; Experience in project management; Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics
