Assistant Manager - Albany Creek Tavern

Assistant Manager at the Albany Creek Tavern, one of the high-volume suburban venues in Brisbane's north. The role is floor-focused and involves running the floor across the bistro, bar, and premium gaming and retail operations, supporting the Publican and leading a team while maintaining elite standards and great hospitality across every shift.

Responsibilities

Get to know the locals; Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe; Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team; Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches; Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every shift; Perform hands-on duties involving manual handling and lifting (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries)

Requirements

Hospitality experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room; some supervising experience; ability to perform manual handling and lifting safely and efficiently; confidence, pride, and people skills; current RSA/RSG; RMLV; Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
