Assistant Patient Care Nurse Manager

The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other related field of study; Associate's degree with BSN in process (to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four years from date of hire); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; Strong computer skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Advanced nursing skills including IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, and teaching skills; Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes

Nice to have

Master's Degree preferred; Nursing field of study preferred
