Assistant Project Manager (Engineering)

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing across a range of structural systems and materials.; Develop and manage 3-D structural models and BIM documentation; Produce complete, accurate construction documents and calculation packages; Coordinate with architects and engineers across multiple disciplines throughout the project lifecycle; Review submittals and RFIs and conduct field observations and inspections as needed; Support project budgeting, scheduling, billing, and closeout activities; Represent the firm professionally in client meetings, coordination meetings, and on-site visits

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in a structural engineering environment; Proficiency in BIM and structural analysis software; Expert knowledge of applicable building codes and industry design standards; Strong technical writing and communication skills; Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver quality work on schedule; A team-oriented mindset with an interest in developing leadership skills; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Engineering licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred
