Assistant Salon Manager

You will focus on the profitability of the salon and teach stylists the ins and outs of business. You will set the example as well as provide all hair care services offered by Supercuts and ensure the highest quality is provided for each guest. You will act as a coach and mentor to bring out the best in salon employees ensuring there is always a positive work environment. You will hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism.

Managing all salon operations; providing leadership and tools for success; helping staff increase their clientele and the business; focusing on salon profitability; teaching stylists the ins and outs of business; providing all hair care services offered by Supercuts; ensuring the highest quality is provided for each guest; acting as a coach and mentor to bring out the best in salon employees; ensuring a positive work environment; hiring, recruiting, and training; handling conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism

Requirements

Lead by example; customer service at your core; resolve challenges with professionalism; bring out the best in others through training and developing your team; create a positive work environment; provide guidance on business and technical competency matters; keep the salon's bottom line in mind; current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; tech savvy and able to perform administrative tasks; able to read, write, and do basic math; available to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions including overnight travel; good eyesight including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus; comfortable with lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements; occasionally lift 10-25 lbs; comfortable with fragrances and chemicals
