Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts; Lead store team members in servicing customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours; Assist in setting team member goals, providing feedback and coaching/mentoring; Assist in hiring process by recruiting, scheduling interviews, evaluating candidates; Ensure telephone answered according to company policy; Process buy online/ship to store, hub, store to store transfers and DC add orders in a timely manner; Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger for special orders and outside purchases; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and accurately; Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Ensure Zipline messages communicated and Image Maker/merchandising tasks completed; Ensure team members comply with company policies; Perform all store opening/closing duties and day end procedures; Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
