Associate Director

A leading and growing construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Director to lead their Cambridge office. The incoming Associate Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the Cambridge office. The successful Associate Director will work closely with senior leadership, managing key client relationships and overseeing multiple commissions. Responsibilities

Leading cost planning, commercial strategy and project delivery; Overseeing procurement, tendering and contract administration (JCT); Acting as Employer’s Agent across key schemes; Managing project financials including valuations, variations and final accounts; Providing strategic advice to clients and stakeholders; Supporting business development and contributing to company growth; Leading and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors; Managing key client relationships and overseeing multiple commissions

Requirements

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline; Extensive UK experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or associate Director; Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management; MRICS Chartered (or equivalent) essential; Proven leadership and client-facing experience as an associate Director; Excellent communication and organisational skills
