Associate IT Engineer

Do you want to work in an international environment, in a role where you have a strong responsibility to manage and develop the internal IT infrastructure? We are now looking for a Associate IT Engineer, Operations to join our team in Utrecht.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day work and handling of first and second line IT support for internal cases via a case management system; Managing workstations, servers and administering web-based collaboration tools; Administration and further development of internal IT infrastructure in Windows, macOS and Linux environments; Evaluate, manage and implement new tools and technologies

Requirements

A bachelor degree in one of the Computer Engineering disciplines or other relevant education in System Administration / IT; 0-2 years of experience working in a similar role; Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and workstations imaging; A knowledge of server environment for both Windows and Linux; Previous experience working with Office 365, VMware and Active Directory; Performed hands-on end user desktop troubleshooting sessions; Worked with network management in previous roles; Good command of the English language; High-energy individual; Enjoys teaching and servicing IT skills; Curious person; Enjoys working in a problem-solving role; Service-minded; Customer-oriented; Flexible; Ability to prioritise; Good collaborative skills; Ability to work independently

Nice to have

Apple macOS knowledge; Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash or Python; Knowledge of Service Desk incident and case management system; Proficiency in Dutch
