Associate/Senior Associate – Professional Indemnity & Insurance Litigation

A highly regarded specialist disputes practice in London is seeking an ambitious Solicitor with 4-7 years' PQE to join its growing professional indemnity and insurance litigation team. The practice acts for insurer clients and regulated professionals across a broad range of complex disputes, including claims involving legal professionals, financial advisers, insurance intermediaries and other regulated businesses. The team is instructed on high-value and technically challenging matters and offers significantly greater responsibility than is typically available within larger institutional practices. This opportunity would suit a Lawyer currently working within: Professional indemnity; Insurance litigation; Commercial litigation with professional negligence exposure; Financial services disputes.

Responsibilities

Run your own caseload with Partner support; Develop direct insurer and client relationships; Handle High Court litigation; Advise on coverage and indemnity issues; Work on claims involving financial services, legal services and other regulated sectors; Gain meaningful advocacy and mediation exposure

Requirements

Solicitor with 4-7 years' PQE; Experience in professional negligence and/or insurance litigation; Strong technical and drafting ability; Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence; Ambition to accelerate your development within a growing specialist team
