Auto Electrician

As the production capacity and road train fleet continue to grow at MinRes' Flagship Onslow Iron Operations we have an immediate requirement for additional Auto Electricians to join our team site based team at the Onslow Truck Maintenance Facility. You will be working in fast paced workshop environment alongside a close-knit team of Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers & Trade assistants. This will be 2/1 Roster working both day & night shift with chartered flights provided from Perth.

Responsibilities

Ensure MinRes fleet of Kenworth C509s remains road worthy and downtime is kept to a minimum; Perform general servicing, preventive maintenance, component change outs and swift resolution to breakdowns; Undertake replacement works of gear boxes, turbos and engines; Work in a fast paced workshop environment alongside a close-knit team of Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers & Trade assistants

Requirements

Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification; A strong commitment to safety and quality of work; Demonstrated diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills; Unlimited Australian Work Rights

Nice to have

Cummins Insight experience highly regarded; Air conditioning Licence highly regarded; Previous experience working with the MT & Guardian Systems highly regarded
