Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Up to $60/hr* & Weekends Off | Weldon Spring

We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our customers. Responsibilities

Diagnose and fix vehicles for customers; Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles; Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections; Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively; Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization; Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns; Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Requirements

Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers; 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic; Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles; Meet or exceed hourly goals; Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes; Professional appearance and strong communication; A desire for long-term career development; Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds; Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head; Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair; Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools; Walk/stand for the majority of their workday; Drive manual transmission vehicles; Efficiently navigate a computer
