Banquet - Bartender

We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Bartender to join our team! This individual will help to direct the set up and preparation of banquet rooms for banquet functions, serve as the bartender as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function. This individual will serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Also, to prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests, and act as cashier for the banquet beverage bar.

Responsibilities

Direct the set up and preparation of banquet rooms for banquet functions; Serve as bartender; Clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function; Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner; Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests; Act as cashier for the banquet beverage bar; Ensure total guest satisfaction through effective communication and anticipation of guest requirements; Adhere to liquor laws and resort beverage service policies; Maintain sanitation standards and health department regulations; Properly set function and reception areas per resort standards; Maintain professional communication with supervisors and guests; Work flexible hours including weekends and extended eight-hour days

Requirements

Minimum one year in service position within the food service industry; Customer service experience; Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and leadership skills

Nice to have

Liquor experience; Banquet experience; Experience with high volume bartending at banquet events
