Banquet Server

The Banquet Server sets up, serves, and cleans up for banquet breakfast, lunch, dinner, or for receptions. Perform other duties, as required.

Requirements

Good public contact skills; Ability to work well with others; Ability to follow established standards for attendance, dress, work procedures, hospitality and courtesy; Ability to work flexible days and hours including nights, weekends and holidays; Ability to maintain standards listed below; Must have good reading and comprehensive skills; Must have tableside or banquet experience; Applicants must be 18 years of age according to Virginia A.B.C. Code § 4.1-307; Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County food handler's card and TIPS certification; Lifting trays weighing up to 50 pounds; Standing for long periods of time; Must not have been convicted of a felony, any crime involving moral turpitude, or a drug-related offense within the past five years (for alcohol serving positions)
