Bartender - Boeing Center at Tech Port

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Bartender for Legends Global/Boeing Center at Tech Port. The Bartender is responsible for providing high quality customer service during all events to achieve customer satisfaction and accurate accounting of all transactions including inventory, in accordance with Legends Global Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Responsibilities

Provides high quality customer service during all events; Sets up and services individual beverage locations; Properly handles cash; Enforces all liquor laws; Verifies and accounts for all liquor inventory; Maintains proper sanitation of work area; Follows proper safety practices in the work area; Reports to F&B Personnel in appropriate uniform; Prepares all beverage items for sale in the station; Sells to customers, charging amount indicated on Legends Global price list; Receives and handles cash and/or tickets; Accurately verifies all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor; Verifies cash register is programmed properly; Follows all rules and regulations which apply to the beverage operations; Requests identification for every guest purchasing alcohol; Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age; Must be TABC certified; Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures; Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money; Must have basic working knowledge of bar operation; Must have the ability to take directions and effectively perform the work; Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees, as well as read and understand all policies and procedures; Must be able to stand and/or walk for long durations at a time; Must be able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs; Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times; Strong knowledge of sanitary practices; Maintain proper grooming and dress code standards; Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment; Ability to work with other staff members in the facility; Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks; Attention to detail
