Avani Queenstown Hotel is looking for enthusiastic and versatile Bartender / Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team. Part Time- and Full-Time positions available.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer and wine; Provide attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering meals; Deliver professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests; Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience; Maintain clean, stocked and organised bar and service areas; Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service; Contribute to a positive and professional team environment; Comply with all health, hygiene and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) standards

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending and/or food & beverage service; Strong product knowledge and confidence preparing classic cocktails; Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable personality; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; A positive and professional attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality; The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
