Bartender - Swim Up Bar

The Swim-Up Bar Bartender is responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for guests enjoying Serpent’s Bay. This role blends hospitality, efficiency, and personality—delivering handcrafted beverages with energy while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging poolside environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences; Provide friendly, engaging, and attentive service to guests in and around the swim-up bar area; Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and resort policies; Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations; Monitor guest behavior and consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment; Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system; Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory as needed throughout the shift; Collaborate with Recreation/Activities and Food & Beverage teams to support overall pool operations; Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including pool safety awareness; Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts; Uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture; Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques; Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service per state law; Responsible Beverage Service certification (or ability to obtain); Strong communication and guest service skills; Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-energy environment; Positive attitude, reliability, and team-focused mindset
