Beauty Sales Consultant, Licensed

CVS Health's beauty retail division is seeking a talented, sales-oriented Licensed Beauty Sales Consultant who is passionate about the beauty industry and believes the customer experience should be top-notch. The role involves sharing the latest beauty trends and techniques through beauty services and sales, and being responsible for the end-to-end customer experience in Beauty & Personal Care. Full-time position with 40 anticipated weekly hours.

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to ensure a world class beauty advisor experience; Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, upselling and suggestive selling; Be the brand expert by answering customer questions in detail with product knowledge; Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events and current promotions; Provide various paid beauty services and personalized product advice; Represent CVS and partner brands and uphold the highest standards of service; Educate customers on proper product usage, features and benefits; Manage time between consultations, scheduled services and walk-in clients; Create and maintain product displays and special promotional materials; Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events; Maintain a clean, well-stocked and compliant assigned area; Execute sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies; Complete ongoing sales, brand and paid service training; Maintain a professional colleague appearance

Requirements

Current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician License in the state where you will work, maintained and displayed during all working hours; Willingness and ability to perform ear-piercing services in all stores and all other services offered at the location; Pass all required skills assessments and training courses before performing paid services; Ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals; Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; Goal-driven, with an ability to multi-task; Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; Available to work at a CVS store and travel to sales programs and events as needed; Available for a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours and Peak Hours; Nevada applicants must provide confirmation of a Makeup Artist/Threader Registration issued by the state of Nevada; Bilingual English and Spanish required in specific stores; Must be at least 18 years old; High school diploma or equivalent; Stand for extended periods; Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or grasp objects, including on lower shelves; Manual dexterity for hair styling, makeup application and ear piercing
