Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining, correcting defencies, and/or making repairs to all common areas within the Association; Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with HOA policies and regulations as required by code and regulatory enforcement agencies.; Monitor and maintain optimum performance of all building systems to include mechanical, electrical/electronic, fire life safety, smoke control, security, HVAC, and water circulation system.; Coordinate and interact with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs, as well as adherence to quality standards.; Plan and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of building systems.; Collaborate with General Manager on modifications and improvements to building systems, including control software, to enhance efficiency and functionality.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of onsite high rise or mid-rise building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management.; Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Building Code, HOA experience is a plus.; HVAC Certification EPA/608 License Fire Pump Certificate preferred Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance; Hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience.; Experience in fire system management.; Strong verbal and written communication skills.; Team player attitude.; Availability by cell phone 24/7 for emergencies.; HVAC Certification.; EPA/608 License.; Fire Pump Certificate preferred.; Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred.; Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
