CAN_Packager - Nights

Packaging of pharmaceutical products for clinical and commercial jobs on night shifts at PCI Pharma Services in Mississauga. Shift timings: Sunday Nights 10:15pm - 7:15am; Monday thru Thursday 11:30pm - 7:15am.

Responsibilities

Reads and understands packaging procedures prior to each job; Performs a variety of manual tasks associated with the packaging of pharmaceutical products for both clinical and commercial jobs; Monitors production output for quality and accuracy; Counts product and confirms issued quantities; Undertakes a detailed inspection of labels and foils for print correctness, sequencing of numbers, expiry dates, lot numbers, legibility of print, alignment of print, properly formed foil blisters, etc.; Identifies quality issues or concerns and brings these to the attention of the Line Leader, Shift Lead and/or Production Manager for appropriate action; Lends assistance to Quality Assurance with regards to in-process inspection if/as required; May assist in picking materials for job runs; Uses Tropo's ERP system accurately to electronically sign into production orders to track man hours; Cleans and maintains packaging room as required throughout the week; This position may require overtime and/or weekend work; Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Requirements

Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules; Attendance to work is an essential function of this position; Understands and adheres to SOP requirements, GMP practices and job specific packaging procedures
