Car Wash Attendant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available. Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer that comes through the wash. Field customer inquiries. Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel. Upkeep the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.

Responsibilities

Greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available; Standing at the pay stations and assisting every customer that comes through the wash; Fielding customer inquiries; Guiding customer vehicles into the wash tunnel; Upkeeping the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay; Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned; Reporting to work on time and following the dress and appearance code.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills including active listening; Excellent sales and customer service skills; Ability to anticipate customer needs; Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers; Ability to work as a team; Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system; Strong work ethic and professional attitude; Shift availability: Days (weekdays + weekend availability required); Physical demands include standing and walking throughout the workday, use of hands, reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping/crouching/kneeling, working in damp/humid/outdoor variable weather conditions, lifting/moving objects up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, exposure to noise; Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment.

Customer service and some sales experience preferred.
