Care Assistant

Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing. You’ll support people to stay independent in their own homes and be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care with dignity and respect – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming; Assisting with medication – preparation and administration; Helping with mobility – and using aids/equipment safely; Preparing meals/snacks – and offering mealtime support; Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning; Offering companionship and reassurance – building meaningful relationships; Encouraging social engagement and family connections; Monitoring health and reporting changes to healthcare professionals and family; Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided; Responding to emergencies safely and effectively; Working collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Requirements

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle; Genuine compassion and respect for others; Strong communication and listening skills; A positive, can-do attitude; Reliability and a caring, supportive nature; The right to work in the UK
