Care Assistant

Bring your caring and compassionate attitude to our fantastic team. As a Complex Care Assistant, you’ll deliver award-winning care to support our clients in their own homes to help maintain their independence, dignity and self-worth. Every day is different! You will be caring for a gentleman who had a car accident at a young age, which left him paralyzed with Spinal Cord Injury. He is looking for dedicated care assistants to join his team and help him continue this journey. He loves sci-fi, attends comic cons, enjoys music, and is passionate about computers and staying active. You will provide daily assistance and care, help him attend events and pursue his hobbies, and support him in maintaining an active and fulfilling lifestyle. You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion, and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.

Responsibilities

Deliver award-winning care to support clients in their own homes; Maintain clients' independence, dignity and self-worth; Develop and enhance skills in personal care, medication administration, catheter care and bowel care; Provide daily assistance and care to a gentleman with Spinal Cord Injury; Help him attend events and pursue his hobbies; Support him in maintaining an active and fulfilling lifestyle

Requirements

Full driving licence and ability to drive the client's manual car; Care; Compassion; Resilience; Confidence; Empathy; Excellent communication skills; Motivation
