Care Assistant

We are currently looking for compassionate Care Professionals to join our dedicated branch covering Hertsmere and South Hertfordshire. You’ll help vulnerable clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Following personalised care plans designed to promote dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

Medication support (preparation and administration); Mobility support (including the safe use of aids and equipment); Mealtime support (preparing meals/snacks, and feeding if required); Light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, light cleaning); Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care); Companionship (building meaningful relationships and emotional support); Medication Management (collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration); Nutrition & Mealtimes (cooking nutritious meals, considering dietary needs); Mobility Assistance (transfers, walking support, use of aids); Health Monitoring (observing and reporting changes in condition); Social Inclusion (helping maintain community and family connections); Emotional Support (empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear); Documentation (accurate record keeping); Safety & Emergency Response (creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed); Collaboration (working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families)

Requirements

Full driving licence and access to own vehicle; Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others; Reliability, punctuality, and a naturally caring nature; Patience and active listening skills; Resilience and adaptability; A keen eye for detail; The ability to use your initiative and stay calm under pressure; Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuous training; Great communication and a collaborative team spirit; The right to work in the UK
