Carer / Personal Assistant

We are looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to join our friendly team of three carers. You will provide high quality one to one support to a young man in his family home. Your role will focus on comfort wellbeing and supporting an active and happy daily life.

Responsibilities

Providing high quality one to one support to a young man in his family home; Supporting daily routines including personal care, dressing and meal preparation; Encouraging social interaction and community outings; Administering medication as required; Completing minimal paperwork; Working closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and person centred care

Requirements

Good spoken and written English; Previous experience in home care or a similar caring role; The ability to follow care plans while adapting to changing needs; Reliable; honest; genuinely passionate about making a positive difference; Must like dogs

Nice to have

A driving licence; caring nature; good sense of humour
