Casual Cook

At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavours and the power of food to bring people together. As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests. We are looking for people that are available for overnight shifts on Friday and Saturdays, as well as a morning throughout the week (Monday-Thursday) from 6am. We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have the requirements listed above.

Responsibilities

Following the GYG recipe guide; Working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours; Delivering quality creations for guests; Being available for overnight shifts on Friday and Saturdays, and morning shifts Monday-Thursday from 6am

Requirements

Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment; Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience; Good understanding of food safety concerns; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
