Category Manager: Dynamic Chilled Brand

Our client is a leading Chilled Branded Player within the FMCG arena, operating within 4 key product areas they have a huge passion for both Consumer led marketing and Food quality. Not only have they won numerous awards within the Retail Channel for ground breaking levels of growth an innovation; but they are the chosen authority on questions of category development within their product areas. In an exciting bid to further strengthen their hold on the market, they are now seeking to appoint candidates within the Category Management field. As a Category Manager you will work directly for the Category Director in a focused role on one of the UKs leading Multiple retailers. In doing so you will gain exposure to Strategically Led Category Initiatives; gaining a vast insight into the Commercialisation of Brand Plans by operating as a key linchpin within a Matrix Led Business Unit. You will also be given the challenge contributing to a all encompassing Category Audit of the Businesses Key Brands.

Responsibilities

Work directly for the Category Director in a focused role on one of the UK's leading Multiple retailers; Gain exposure to strategically led category initiatives; Gain insight into the commercialisation of brand plans; Operate as a key linchpin within a matrix-led business unit; Contribute to an all-encompassing category audit of the business's key brands

Requirements

Category or Trade Marketing capacity in a major FMCG Branded or O/L player; can-do mentality; creative flair for solution focused thinking
