Catering assistant - Perkins Engines

Full Time: 20hrs a week

Responsibilities

Food Service; Assist with the preparation, portioning and presentation of food items.; Serve customers politely and efficiently, maintaining portion control and service standards.; Set up, replenish and clear service counters throughout service periods.; Customer Experience; Provide friendly, professional customer service.; Respond to customer queries and requests promptly.; Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming service environment.; Operational Support; Assist with basic food preparation under supervision.; Support the smooth running of break times, meal periods, hospitality events and ad‑hoc service requirements.; Follow all operational procedures, including allergen management and labelling.; Cleaning & Hygiene; Carry out daily cleaning tasks in kitchen, service and dining areas.; Wash up equipment, utensils and crockery using manual or mechanical methods.; Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and adhere to uniform requirements.; Health, Safety & Compliance; Follow all food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures.; Report hazards, maintenance issues or incidents immediately.; Comply with company policies, including health & safety, safeguarding (if applicable), and confidentiality.
