Caterlink - Assistant Chef

Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. We are looking for an Assistant Chef at St Teresa RC primary school, in Morden who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We are looking for an organised, hard-working and passionate individual to ensure that the food quality, presentation and service are provided to the required standard. Working hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only, 38 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

Assist with all planning, preparing and cooking of meals to the required standard; ensure the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers; brief kitchen teams on menus and service; ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously; carry out company bookwork

Requirements

Organised; hard-working; passionate about delivering an efficient service to students; commitment to great customer service and high food safety standards; enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role
