Cathodic Protection Technician

We are seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician who would like to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Performing Cathodic Protection Surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.); Supporting indirect inspections on pipelines and facility piping including CIS, DCVG, and ACVG.; Assisting with CP component repairs including test stations, rectifiers, and RMUs.; Providing CP system installation support.; Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys; Performing Atmospheric Corrosion Inspections

Requirements

2 years minimum of field survey experience is required; NACE CP2 Technician certification or greater preferred; College degree preferred; Oil & gas and/or water/wastewater experience is preferred; Ability to travel, perform field work, and work overtime; Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Coffman’s stringent requirements; Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC; Exceptional organization, writing and communication skills
