Class B (or Non-CDL) Medical Waste/Sharps BOX TRUCK Driver (6314)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Richmond, VA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

Responsibilities

Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers; Operate company vehicles up to 26’ box trucks; Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service; Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues; Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections; Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required); Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs; Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service

Requirements

Valid Class B license or valid drivers license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card; Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks; Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections; Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks; Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers; Customer-focused mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude; Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices; Heavy lifting required
