Cleaning and Waste Operative

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties will include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens. You'll use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products. You will ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You'll need to react quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (all training will be provided). You will manage waste disposal.

Responsibilities

Working within a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team; general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens; using appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products; ensuring all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order; reacting quickly to call-outs from the client; complying with all Health & Safety legislation and policies; managing waste disposal

Requirements

Motivated; reliable; hardworking; flexible in approach to the role; comfortable working as part of a team; no experience necessary (full training provided); required to complete a Basic Disclosure Check; may be required to undertake a drug and alcohol screening test
