Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is a private investment firm providing capital for long-term growth and acquisitions for businesses in the healthcare, industrial, and commercial industries.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services in AWS and Azure; Modernize applications to leverage cloud-native capabilities and improve performance and scalability; Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security; Manage and deploy virtual machines, serverless computing resources, and virtual networks; Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes; Develop and manage APIs, content delivery networks, load balancers, and DNS configurations; Implement and manage identity and access management and role-based access control; Monitor and log cloud infrastructure using industry-standard tools and services; Implement CI/CD pipelines using various tools; Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and CloudFormation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; 5-7 years of related experience; Extensive experience with cloud platforms; Hands-on experience with Docker and managed Kubernetes services; Proficiency in CI/CD practices and tools; Knowledge of NoSQL databases, managed RDS, and data warehousing solutions; Strong understanding of serverless architectures and microservices; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification
