Community Podiatrist

As a full-time or part-time Podiatrist you will be providing high-quality treatment to our clients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary community setting.

Responsibilities

Ensuring appropriate delivery of quality Podiatry services tailored to the individual needs of the client and using a person-centred approach; Conducting assessments and providing interventions to patients and clients in their own home; Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP's and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective patient care; Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports and treatment management plans which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and Aged Care Providers; Reflecting the practice values of Care, Respect, Integrity and Service Excellence in all work; Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Care Coordinators, GP's, community centres and other referrers

Requirements

Podiatry degree, with General AHPRA registration; Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; Ability to work autonomously in the community; An enjoyment of working with the older adult and adult disability demographics; Full working rights in Australia; Clean driver licence, access to own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance; Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application; Willing to receive an annual flu vaccination; CPR certification
