Computer Field Technician

This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. Based out of Granbury, Texas, BC Tech Pro partners with techs all over the country to complete on-site hardware warranty services in their territories.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units; Complete on-site hardware warranty services at residential and commercial customer sites; Confirm service times with customers in the tech portal; Pick up parts daily from the assigned FedEx or UPS store before going onsite; Drop off old parts with the pre-paid label after completing calls; Complete Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding

Requirements

Prior hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops; Prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Comfortable with daily local travel; Access to a computer and the Internet; Available to log into the tech portal by 9 am each working morning; Regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays
