Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Conduct competitor product studies and teardown analysis to understand market positioning and design features; Manufacturing Process Knowledge; Perform product and component cost estimation for Greenfield and Brownfield projects ( Sales Price, Design to Cost, negotiation calculations, RPP ); Execute technical studies on manufacturing processes, design features, and material specifications; Predict and document assembly techniques and sequences for product manufacturing; Develop detailed product comparison reports and technical documentation; Engage with suppliers and vendors to gather cost and capability information; Apply holistic cost engineering methods and processes to optimize product economics; Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities based on cost analysis; Maintain knowledge of competitor tracking and market benchmarking trends; Analyze product cost structures and provide insights for design optimization. Qualifications: BE in Mechanical/ Automotive/ Mechatronics Engineering. Additional Information: 6 to 8 years.
