CT Technologist

At SimonMed, diagnostic quality starts with you. Our CT Technologists are essential to delivering the advanced outpatient imaging our patients and referring physicians depend on. From complex contrast-enhanced studies to 3D renderings and cardiac protocols, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols; produce diagnostic-grade images using expert knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging techniques, and contrast administration; maintain proficiency in PACS and RIS systems; apply ALARA radiation safety principles; maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation; manage own workflow and keep exam room ready; troubleshoot equipment issues on GE, Siemens, or Philips platforms; adapt to a high-volume outpatient schedule and prioritize tasks; ensure proper patient identification, review medical history, explain procedures, and provide comfort and safety; respond swiftly to contrast reactions and maintain infection control standards; mentor students, model best practices, and provide hands-on guidance

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) + Computed Tomography (CT) required; Valid state licensure current (where required); CPR/BLS certified and current; Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms; Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Ability to lift/assist patients and thrive in a physically active environment; Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1+ year of CT experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
