Custody Nurse or Paramedic

In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client. The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with Police; Ensure safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites; Work flexibly across base custody suite and assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Work fixed shifts in team rota pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 days off, including day and night shifts

Requirements

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (e.g. A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration with 2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum; Paramedic with 2 years post qualification; Driving license; Must have RTW, lived in UK with British Passport or ILR for 3+ years and no gaps out of country more than 3 months; Subject to Police Vetting; Flexibility to work across assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Ability to work full shifts including night shifts
