Custody Nurse or Paramedic

In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client. The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.

Responsibilities

Pursue a career within the criminal justice system aiding vulnerable individuals; Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensure the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites; Work flexibly across the base custody suite and assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Work fixed shifts in a team rota pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 days off (2 day shifts 06:45-19:00 followed by 2 night shifts 18:45-07:00)

Requirements

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post qualification, Band 5 minimum; Paramedic with 2 years post qualification; Valid driving licence; Must have RTW, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months; All candidates subject to Police Vetting
